The journey in brief
Designed for travellers with limited time, this expedition uses an intermediate overnight near Akiba to break the route toward Bekopaka. It devotes a concentrated full day to the Grand and Small Tsingy, then combines the Manambolo Gorge with the drive toward Kirindy.
The journey ends with both nocturnal and morning wildlife experiences in Kirindy and an unforgettable return to Morondava through Baobab Avenue. The schedule is ambitious and depends on early departures, good track conditions and coordinated ferry crossings.

Detailed itinerary
Depart Morondava by 4×4 and travel north through Baobab country and the rural landscapes of Menabe. Cross the Tsiribihina River by ferry and continue to the planned lodge or Akiba-area overnight stop. This positioning day reduces the following transfer and provides a first taste of remote western travel.
